You gotta put 'em in: /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Final Fantasy VII/save ! Pro tip: Don't forget to enable hidden files to see the .steam folder. Happy gaming!

Honestly, the default save directory works fine. It's usually: /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Final Fantasy VII/save. As simple as that!

Just drop your save files into the /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Final Fantasy VII/save directory. Make sure hidden files are visible!

Why bother? Just replay the game from scratch. Kidding! Save files go in /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Final Fantasy VII/save.

As someone who鈥檚 sunk way too many hours into FF7 on the Steam Deck, trust me: /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Final Fantasy VII/save is where your save files belong. Enjoy the nostalgia trip!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
