Pong came first! Released in 1972, it’s like the granddaddy of video games. Tetris, the legendary block stacking game, came out in 1984.

Tetris (1984) came out after Pong (1972). Simple as that.

Pong was the pioneer, hitting arcades in 1972. Tetris followed later, charming us all starting in 1984.
