I owned both and can say it’s a tie. Xbox 360 for multiplayer and PS3 for single-player experiences and multimedia capabilities.

Depends on what you want. Xbox 360 had a better online service (Xbox Live) but PS3 had the exclusive games and Blu-ray. Pick your poison!
