The first generation PS3s, particularly the 60GB launch model, can play PS2 games. Keep an eye out for the 4 USB ports in the front as a giveaway!

Only the early 60GB and 20GB PS3 models can play PS2 games. Later models didn't include this feature.

None of the slim or super slim PS3 models can play PS2 games. You gotta find one of the chunky early models instead.

PS3's 60GB model from launch era is your best bet for PS2 game compatibility. Look for CECHAxx model numbers!

The original 60GB and some 20GB models of the PS3 have backward compatibility with PS2 games due to having the PS2's hardware inside them.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
