Why Can't I Use GIFs in Instagram Comments?
Instagram hasn't enabled GIFs in comments yet, probably to keep things simple and focused on text-based interactions there. It seems they're sticking to emojis for now—those little guys get the job done!

No GIFs in Instagram comments because, you know, chaos would ensue! Imagine the loading times!
I know it’s a bummer! Instagram wants to keep things streamlined; too many moving parts could slow down the app’s performance. But who knows, maybe they’ll add it in the future!
