Your PS5 might be turning on randomly due to the Rest Mode settings. Go to Settings > System > Power Saving and tweak the Rest Mode options.

Could be that you have the HDMI Device Link enabled. Go to Settings > System > HDMI and disable HDMI Device Link. Problem solved!

I had this issue and it was due to the 'Enable Turning On PS5 from Network' setting. Disable it in Settings > System > Remote Play, and it should stop.

There's a chance your controller could be accidentally turning it on. Keep your controller away from things that might press the PS button.

Your cat might be a secret gamer. Just kidding, but seriously, check that there's nothing around pressing the power button!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
