High cover in XCOM 2 gives your soldiers better protection but also limits their line of sight and ability to aim at targets. It's the trade-off for staying safe!
I鈥檝e been there: that high cover can block your soldier's view, making it tougher for them to hit the enemy. Safety first, shots second!
High cover reduces your aim because, well, you can't hit what you can't see.
