It could be a weak GPS signal. If you're indoors or have bad cell service, your character can start acting like it's had too much coffee. Step outside or away from tall buildings to fix it.

Sometimes my avatar also goes on unplanned adventures! It's usually because of GPS issues with my phone. I noticed it happens a lot when my device is overheating or low on battery.

Your character might be moving on its own because of GPS drift. Sometimes your phone's GPS gets confused, making your avatar wander off without you. Try restarting your phone or recalibrating the GPS!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
