It's probably just the plastic case settling. Nothing to worry about unless you see smoke (which you won't, promise).
Don't worry too much, it's most likely just the plastic expanding and contracting due to temperature changes as the system heats up and cools down. Mine does it too, especially after long gaming sessions!
If the cracking is really loud or persistent, you might want to check if it's properly ventilated. Overheating can sometimes cause these sounds.
