Steam downloads can drop to 0 for a few reasons - your internet connection might be inconsistent, Steam's servers could be under a lot of pressure (especially during big sales or game releases), or it might just be doing some background processing of the files already downloaded. It's kinda like when your brain needs a moment to process after seeing a really long math problem.

Quick fix that sometimes works: pause the download and start it again. It's like giving it a little nudge to wake up!

I swear, every time there's a big sale, my downloads go bonkers. You're not alone. It's like Steam's way of playing hard to get.

It's probably your internet. Steam has been fine for me.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
