Steam patching might take forever because of your internet connection, buddy. Slow internet = slow download. Also, Steam's servers could be overloaded, especially during big sales or when a popular game drops a massive update. And don't forget, if your PC's running a marathon in the background (think updates, scans, or other downloads), Steam's gonna feel more like a snail.

It's not Steam, it's you. Upgrade that potato PC and get better internet. Problem solved.

Honestly, it once took ages for me to download a patch, then I realized Steam was set to download at a snail's pace in the settings. A quick tweak, and I was back in game in no time. Always check your Steam settings folks!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
