The Elder Scrolls Online requires PlayStation Plus because it's an online multiplayer game, and Sony requires a PS Plus subscription for online play on PS4 and PS5.

You need PS Plus for The Elder Scrolls Online because most online multiplayer games on PlayStation consoles require it for network services and matchmaking.

You need PS Plus for the same reason you need it for any online game on PlayStation鈥擲ony's rule, not ESO's! It's just how they keep the servers running and the multiplayer magic alive.

Well, The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game, and Sony requires PlayStation Plus for online multiplayer games. Gotta pay to slay, folks!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
