Why is Dragon Ball GT so bad?
The shift in tone and pacing compared to Dragon Ball Z threw a lot of fans off. It felt like a weird mix of Dragon Ball's adventure style and DBZ's intense action.

It's not bad! It just suffers because it's sandwiched between two legendary series - Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Give it another shot, you might enjoy it!
Dragon Ball GT didn't have Akira Toriyama's involvement in the same way the previous series did. Without his creative touch, it just didn't hit the same marks.
Some say GT's storyline felt a bit forced and uninspired, especially with the whole 'Black Star Dragon Balls' plot. It was kinda meh.
