This usually happens if you’ve been using third-party apps to boost followers or likes. Instagram doesn’t like that. Stick to organic activity!
Instagram might be restricting your activity because you’ve been flagged for possible spammy behavior. Try scaling back on actions like liking a ton of posts quickly or following/unfollowing lots of accounts in a short period.
Once, Instagram flagged me because I was liking posts too fast. They lifted the restriction after a couple of hours. Just take it slow.
