Why is My Game Locked on PS4?

Usually, a game gets locked on the PS4 because either the license isn't verified or the console isn't set as the primary for the account that's supposed to have the game. You can resolve this by setting your PS4 as the primary console in account settings.
If your game is locked, it might be due to an expired PlayStation Plus subscription since some games require an active membership!
Sometimes, all you need is to restore your licenses. Go to Settings > Account Management > Restore Licenses and let the magic happen!
