First things first, check if the cable is plugged in securely at both ends. Sometimes it's just a loose connection! Also, make sure the cable isn't damaged or frayed anywhere.

Make sure your router or modem is functioning properly. Try to connect the LAN cable to another device like a laptop to see if it's working there. If it does, your PS5 might be the issue.

Pro tip: Try a different LAN port on your router. Not all ports are created equal, and sometimes one port might be having issues while the others are fine.

Have you tried restarting your PS5 and router? Seriously, turning it off and on can work miracles.

Maybe it's a firmware issue. Make sure your PS5 has the latest system software update installed.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
