Your PS4 might be asking for a proxy server if your internet settings are misconfigured. Check your network settings and ensure you’ve selected 'Do Not Use' when prompted for a proxy server.

You may have accidentally turned on the proxy server setting. Go to Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection, and select 'Do Not Use' under Proxy Server.

Just ignore it! Seriously, unless you specifically need a proxy for privacy or network reasons, leave it set to 'Do Not Use'.

It could be that your PS4 is trying to connect through a network that requires a proxy. Make sure to check with your internet service provider or network admin if you aren't sure.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
