Your Steam Deck fan might be loud because it's trying to keep the device cool, especially during intense gaming sessions. You could try using it in a cooler environment or check if there's any dust buildup that needs cleaning.

It's probably running loud because it's working hard to cool down the internals. Make sure you're not blocking any vents and consider using a cooling pad.

Have you tried closing any unnecessary applications or lowering the game settings? Less workload means less heat and a quieter fan.

Hot take: It's just a normal thing for powerful handheld devices. If you want power, you'll have to live with a bit of noise.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
