Your Steam Deck might be stuck on the loading screen because of corrupt system files. Try rebooting it into recovery mode and performing a system restore.

The issue could be linked to a recent software update. Roll back to a previous version if possible, or check for any patches that Valve might have released.

Is your Steam Deck's storage almost full? Clear up some space; it can help the device run more smoothly and get past the loading screen.

Sometimes, just turning the Steam Deck off and on again fixes the issue. It sounds simple, but it works more often than you'd think!

In my experience, connecting the Steam Deck to a charger while booting up has helped resolve the loading screen issue. Give it a try!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
