Ollivanders is in Hogsmeade in Hogwarts Legacy because the game devs wanted to give players the magical experience of visiting this iconic shop right where the action is! Hogsmeade serves as a central hub for students in the game, making it a convenient spot for picking up a wand, which is, of course, essential for any witch or wizard.

Actually, having Ollivanders in Hogsmeade makes total sense for gameplay. Imagine having to travel all the way to Diagon Alley every time you needed a wand repair or wanted to browse for a new wand. Hogsmeade's location in Hogwarts Legacy is all about making your wizarding world adventure smoother and keeping you closer to the magic!

Having Ollivanders in Hogsmeade instead of Diagon Alley in Hogwarts Legacy is honestly a missed opportunity for exploring more of the wizarding world. Would've loved to see more iconic locations outside of Hogsmeade.

Historical accuracy, who? It's a game, folks. They put Ollivanders in Hogsmeade for the vibes and convenience. 10 points to game design!
