Could be due to outdated patches. Make sure your game is fully updated and try reinstalling if the lag persists.

Sims 4 can be laggy on PS4 due to the game being quite resource-heavy. Make sure your console isn't running too hot and try clearing the cache by restarting the console.

Sims 4 just wasn't built with PS4 in mind, so performance issues kinda come with the territory.

From my experience, cluttered households and too many mods/CC can also cause lag. Try cleaning up your game a bit!

Honestly, The Sims 4 on PS4 is just not as optimized as on PC. Lowering in-game settings might help though.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
