First things first, try resetting your PS4 controller by pressing the small reset button on the back with a paperclip. Then reconnect using the USB cable.

Make sure your controller is fully charged. A low battery can sometimes cause connection issues.

Could be interference from other devices. Try turning off nearby electronics to see if that helps.

Check if your controller is paired with another device, like your PC or phone. Unpair it from those and try again.
