Why was Fallout 76 controversial at launch?

Fallout 76 had a rocky start mainly because of bugs and performance issues. Lots of players experienced glitches, and there were complaints about the game feeling empty without human NPCs, which was a big shift from previous Fallout games. But don't forget, Bethesda has made significant improvements since then, adding new content and updates like the 'Wastelanders' expansion that brought NPCs and more story content.

The hate was overblown. Bethesda worked hard to fix the early problems. Now, Fallout 76 is a blast to play, especially with friends.

Honestly, Fallout 76 was misunderstood at launch. Yep, it had bugs, but find me a massive online game that didn鈥檛? The real issue was expectations. Players expected a traditional Fallout experience, but 76 is more about survival and exploration with friends. Give it a shot now, especially with all the updates and new content.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
