Why Won't My PS5 Controller Connect to My PS5?
First, try plugging your controller into the PS5 using a USB-C cable. Sometimes, a hardwired connection can re-establish the Bluetooth link. If that doesn't work, turn off the console, then restart it and try pairing again!

Make sure your controller has enough battery. Charge it for a bit and then try connecting again. Sometimes it's that simple!
Hot take: Try using another controller. If it works, your original one might be defective.
Reset the controller by pressing the small reset button on the back using a paper clip or pin, then try reconnecting it to the PS5.
I had the same issue, and a firmware update for the PS5 fixed it. Go to Settings > System > System Software > System Software Update and Settings.
