Try logging out of Facebook in your browser and in the Facebook app, then log back in and try connecting again.
I had this problem too. Updating both the Facebook app and Sims FreePlay fixed it for me. Give it a shot!
Could be a temporary server issue. Wait a bit and try again. Sometimes patience is a key skill in this game too!
