I鈥檝e been playing Borderlands 3 on my PS4. You only need PlayStation Plus if you plan on doing any co-op or online multiplayer. Solo works fine without it!

Nope, you don't need PS Plus for single-player. You can loot and shoot to your heart's content solo without it.
