Nope, you can't double up on hats in Fallout 4. The game doesn't let you stack fashion like that. You've got to pick your single best headpiece to strut around the wasteland.
Tried and failed. You get one hat slot only. Tried to put on a baseball cap over my combat helmet for that casual yet ready-for-battle look, but no dice.
Absolutely not and thank goodness. Can you imagine the clipping issues? Plus, where would we stop? Two hats today, five tomorrow. It's a slippery slope.
