Nah, synths aren't bad. They just got programmed that way sometimes. Plus, Nick Valentine is a synth, and he's one of the coolest characters in the game. If anything, Fallout 4 shows how 'good' or 'bad' depends more on individual actions than on being human or synth.

Synths = Bad? Nope. Oversimplification. It's the choices you and they make that matter.

In Fallout 4, whether synths are 'bad' really depends on your perspective. The game presents several factions with differing views on synths. The Railroad believes synths deserve freedom, the Institute sees them as tools, and the Brotherhood of Steel views them as threats to humanity. Your interactions and decisions shape your stance, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer. Think of it as a reflection of the game's depth, where moral ambiguity plays a huge role in the story.
