Sadly, nope. Father, aka Shaun, and his storyline have a specific path they follow regardless of the choices you make. It's one of those moments in Fallout 4 where the story is set in stone. You'll have to make peace with the narrative as is, my friend.
Tried everything, but no dice. Saving Father isn't an option in Fallout 4. It's a bummer, but the game still offers plenty of freedom and choices elsewhere.
