Can I change the directory where Fallout 4 saves to?
Absolutely, you can change the Fallout 4 save game directory! It might require a bit of tweaking in the .ini files though. First, dive into your 'Documents\My Games\Fallout4' folder. Then, look for the Fallout4Prefs.ini file and open it with notepad. Add the line 'sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\' under the [Archive] section. Finally, change the save directory to wherever you fancy. Just remember, messing with game files can be risky, so back them up first!

Nah, why bother? Just let it save in the default location. Changing game save directories is asking for trouble.
Did it once, changed the save directory for easier access on my SSD. Not gonna lie, it felt like performing open heart surgery on my game. Worked out in the end though!
