Why can I only find one kind of Power Armor in Fallout 4?
Just unlucky, mate. There's a bunch of different power armors, you just gotta keep looking. Try hitting up some of the more dangerous spots on the map, higher risk, higher reward. Remember, more power to ya if you find that X-01!

It's all about the level, friend. Certain armors won't even say hi unless you're at a high enough level. So if all you're seeing is T-45s, it might be time to grind some quests and level up. Higher levels unlock better power suits; it's like unlocking the good wine at a fancy restaurant.
