Absolutely, you can beat Fallout 4 without ever giving Preston Garvey the time of day. The game's beauty lies in its flexibility. You can completely ignore the Minutemen and still finish the main storyline. Just focus on the other factions like the Brotherhood of Steel, the Railroad, or the Institute to progress. Who needs Preston and his endless settlements anyway?

No Preston? No problem! Just beeline to Diamond City and get cracking with Nick Valentine. The main quest doesn't need Preston at all.

Ignoring Preston is practically a gameplay style at this point. Yup, you can and probably should.

Yes, but why would you want to skip out on our dear Preston? Jokes aside, you totally can go through the whole game without him. I personally took the lone wanderer path and sided with the Railroad. No regrets and no settlements needing my help every five minutes.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
