Nope, you can't have Billy as a companion in Fallout 4. While Billy's definitely a memorable character from that quest we all remember, he's not available for those long walks in the wasteland or battling raiders together. You've got plenty of other companion choices, though, so don't worry!

Short answer: No. Billy stays a quest character, which is kinda sad. I mean, who wouldn't want a kid in a fridge as a sidekick?

Actually, Billy can't become a companion, which is a bummer. He's part of a unique quest, but after that, he just goes his own way. Still, the game's got a solid lineup of companions to choose from, so you won't feel the lack for long!
