Yup, I joined all of them... until they made me choose. It was all sunshine and rainbows working with everyone until the quests started to clash. Didn't realize my fallout family dinner would end in a food fight where I had to pick who got to stay at the table.
Sorta, but not really. In Fallout 4, you can initially join and work with all the major factions - the Brotherhood of Steel, the Railroad, the Minutemen, and the Institute - up to a certain point in the story. But as you dive deeper into the game, you'll have to make some tough decisions that will force you to side with one faction over the others. So, you can taste a bit of everything before you have to break some hearts (and maybe some faces).
