Absolutely, you can send Gage to meet his maker in Fallout 4. Just remember, if you're playing the Nuka-World DLC, offing Gage will definitely make you some enemies and could affect your standing with certain Raider gangs. But hey, sometimes you've just gotta do what you've gotta do.
