Do Companions Die in Fallout 4?
They don't permanently die but will need a Stimpak from you in Survival mode. Otherwise, they get up after a fight like nothing happened. Makes you wish you had their resilience during a tough Monday, am I right?

Nope, your companions in Fallout 4 can't die, at least not permanently. When they take too much damage, they'll just get knocked down and will be back on their feet after the fight is over or when you give them a Stimpak. So, no need to worry about losing your favorite wasteland buddy forever!
Actually, companions in Fallout 4 are pretty much immortal in terms of gameplay. If they take a heavy hit during a battle, they'll just kneel down and recover after a bit. The exception is playing on Survival mode, where you can indeed permanently lose your companions - so, keep those Stimpaks handy!
Honestly, the fact companions can't really die in Fallout 4 takes away a bit of the challenge. Makes you kind of wish for a bit more realism.
Nah, they're invincible. Unless you're the type who plays on Survival mode. Then, good luck keeping them alive.
