How much charisma do I need in Fallout 4?
You'll wanna aim for at least 6 Charisma if you're looking to smooth-talk your way through the Commonwealth. It lets you persuade in some conversations and is great for bartering. But if you're aiming for the stars and wanna be the ultimate silver-tongued wastelander, bumping that number up to 10 unlocks all the persuasive possibilities and the best prices at shops. Honestly, just start with what feels right for your playstyle, but don't sweat it too much. You can always find clothing and items that boost your Charisma temporarily when you need it. I've made it through fine with a Charisma of 4, just had to shoot my way out more often than not.
