Assigning workers in Fallout 4 is pretty simple. Just enter Workshop mode by pressing 'V' on your keyboard while in one of your settlements. Then, look at one of your settlers. You should see an option to 'Command'—hit 'E'. Now, just point your cursor at the resource or station you want that settler to work on, and hit 'E' again. Voila, you've got yourself a worker!

Don't overthink it. Simply wander into your settlement, press 'V' to slip into Workshop mode, and use the 'E' key to direct your settlers to where they're needed most. Remember, each settler can only handle one job at a time, so plan accordingly!

Hot take: Just wander around pressing buttons until something happens. Honestly, half the fun is figuring it out yourself.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
