Just hit L2/Left Trigger or the right mouse button. No need to complicate it. Timing isn't that crucial unless you're up against a Deathclaw or something.

Blocking in Fallout 4 is pretty straightforward. Just press and hold the right mouse button if you're on PC, or if you're using a console, hold down the left trigger on Xbox or L2 on PS4. Timing is key! Block right as your enemy attacks to stagger them, which gives you a moment to counter.

From my experience, blocking is your best friend in close combat. Remember, not all attacks can be blocked, so keep an eye on those gun-toting raiders. Timing your blocks just before the hit lands is crucial for surviving encounters with tougher enemies. Saved my skin more times than I can count!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
