Switching companions in Fallout 4 is pretty straightforward! Just walk up to the character you want to travel with and engage in conversation. You'll see an option to ask them to join you. When you do, the game will prompt you to send your current companion to any previously discovered settlement. Remember, each companion has their unique skills and quests, so choose wisely or have fun collecting them all!

Just talk to the new buddy you want to hang with and tell your old pal to hit the road. Easy!

I once accidentally sent Dogmeat to the wrong settlement and spent hours looking for him. So, pro tip: make sure you remember where you send your current companions. It makes swapping them back in much easier.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
