Clearing Spectacle Island in Fallout 4 is all about taking control of the place! First off, you gotta head to the southern part of the island and find a green boat. Inside that boat, there's a circuit breaker. Flip that switch, and you'll attract a bunch of mirelurks, so be ready to fight. Once you've dealt with them, you'll need to enable the workshop by activating the circuit breaker located in the small shack on top of the hill. This will clear the island and allow you to build to your heart's content!

Honestly, just avoid it. Spectacle Island's a pain to clear and not really worth the hassle unless you're dead set on building a mega settlement there.
Easiest way? Lots of ammo and some power armor. Flip the switch on the boat, fight the mirelurks, then activate the workshop. Boom, island cleared.
