Just turn off VSync in your graphics card's control panel. Much easier and works for more games than just Fallout 4.

To disable VSync in Fallout 4, you're gonna want to dive into the game's files a bit. First, navigate to your Fallout 4 directory (usually under Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4). Then, find the 'Fallout4Prefs.ini' file and open it with a text editor like Notepad. Scroll down or search for 'iPresentInterval=1' and change that 1 to a 0. Save your changes, and voila, VSync should now be disabled, giving you potentially higher FPS but beware, you might see some screen tearing!

Honestly, playing with VSync turned off might not be the best. Fallout 4 can get pretty glitchy with unlimited fps. Just saying, don't fix what ain't broke.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
