To dismiss a companion in Fallout 4, it's pretty simple. Just walk up to the companion you wanna send packing, engage in conversation, and there should be an option to part ways. You can then choose to send them to any of your established settlements or let them return to where you originally found them. Remember to take back any gear you gave them unless you want it gone forever!

Honestly, I kinda just keep Dogmeat around most of the time. Everyone else gets the 'it's not you, it's me' talk eventually.

Don't forget, when you're dismissing a companion, you also get the chance to handpick their new home base. Adds a nice touch of strategy to who stays where!

Just tell them to go away. Literally, talk to them, select the 'Dismiss' option, and send them to your favorite settlement. Easy peasy.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
