It's actually pretty simple! Just walk up to Dogmeat, interact with him, and you'll get a few options. One of them is to dismiss him. Then, you'll be able to send him to any of your settlements. Just make sure you remember where you sent him, or you might end up playing hide and seek with your furry friend across the Commonwealth!

Just talk to him! You can send Dogmeat to any settlement you want. But honestly, why would you wanna dismiss him? He's the best boi.

Simply interact with Dogmeat and choose the option to dismiss him. Then pick a settlement for him to chill at. Easy peasy.
