To find Codsworth in Fallout 4, just head straight to Sanctuary Hills after leaving Vault 111. He's hard to miss, buzzing around waiting to greet you with open robot arms. Sanctuary Hills is your character’s pre-war home, so Codsworth hangs around there, tidying up the remnants of civilization.

If you're playing for the first time, finding Codsworth is super straightforward. Leave the vault, walk down the hill, follow the path home to Sanctuary. Boom. Robo-butler reunion! I remember my first playthrough, I was so worried about missing companions, but Codsworth? He finds you.
