Getting to Spectacle Island in Fallout 4 is an adventure itself! First, you gotta swim or find a way to get across the water to the island. Once you're there, head to the southern part of the island, and you'll find a green boat. On that boat is a switch - flip it, but get ready for a fight because turning on the switch will attract some Mirelurks. After you handle those pesky critters, the island's workshop becomes available, and voila, Spectacle Island is yours to command!
Honestly, getting Spectacle Island isn't worth the hassle. The real treasures in Fallout 4 are found elsewhere.
