To snag the Alien Blaster in Fallout 4, you wanna keep an eye to the skies! After hitting level 20, wander around outside a bit and you'll witness a UFO streak across the sky and crash. Follow the smoke trail to find the crashed ship northeast of Vault 81 and west of the Beantown Brewery. Near the crash site, you'll find a cave. Inside, you'll meet the alien. It's not too friendly, so after a quick 'discussion', the Alien Blaster is all yours.

Honestly, just get the Alien Blaster Pistol as soon as you can. It's a game-changer early on. Look for the UFO crash after you level up some. Follow the trail, find the cave, and the alien inside won't be needing it anymore.
Took me forever to find that alien gun, but totally worth it for the cool factor alone. Follow the UFO crash after you're level 20 or so, and there's this cave where you'll have a close encounter of the hostile kind. Alien leaves behind a nice souvenir though!
