How to Kill Kellogg in Fallout 4
Energy weapons are your friend here. Kellogg seems to have less resistance against them. Get something like a laser rifle or the righteous authority if you've got it. Aim for the head, and VATS is your best friend. Keep your distance and take cover often. Also, popping a Psycho can't hurt if you're into that sort of play.

Power Armor. Seriously, just suit up and you'll wonder why you were ever worried. Makes you feel like a walking tank.
Just spam him with the Fat Man. Overkill? Maybe. Satisfying? Absolutely.
Kellogg? Just sneak up with a super sledge. It's barbaric but brutally efficient. Gives a whole new meaning to 'breakfast of champions.'
First up, bring your best gear and make sure you've got plenty of stimpaks. Kellogg's in Fort Hagen, and he's no pushover. Sneak attacks help a lot, and remember to use the environment to your advantage. Mines and grenades can soften him up before you go in guns blazing. Oh, and don't forget to keep moving; Kellogg's got a stealth boy and loves to reposition.
