To take down Sarge in Fallout 4, you'll want to come prepared. Energy weapons like the Laser Rifle work wonders because of his weakness to them. Explosives are also your friend here; a well-placed grenade or mine can do significant damage. Keep moving to avoid his attacks, and use the environment to your advantage for cover. Don't forget to pack a bunch of Stimpaks, you'll likely need them!
Hacking the terminal nearby to turn the turrets against him can make this fight a breeze. Requires a bit of tech savvy, but it's worth it to see those turrets do your dirty work!
Energy weapons? Explosives? Nah, just get the Overseer's Guardian, load it with armor-piercing rounds, and watch Sarge go down. Worked like a charm for me.
