How to pacify in Fallout 4
To pacify in Fallout 4, you gotta sneak up on 'em and aim your gun. Make sure you've got the Intimidation perk activated, which you can snag once you hit level 23 and have a Charisma stat of 10. Without it, you're just pointing a gun at someone and hoping for the best. Basically, get close, aim, and press the prompted button to try and calm them down. Works like a charm if you do it right.

Honestly, why bother pacifying when you can just go in guns blazing? Much more fun that way!
